Teaching children and teens to sing and play piano is my joy! We have fun in my Studio, and there is work and practice involved. I can’t wait to start!

My Studio provides a friendly and encouraging environment in which to learn and develop musically.

Young music students experience firsthand that music is a creative art as well as an interpretive art.

With motivating repertoire and instruction tailored to the child’s learning style, the student is singing or playing and making music in no time!

Voice Students:

My Studio offers personalized attention and personalized instruction. Your voice is part of YOU! Every personality is different. Every singer’s needs are different. Repertoire is chosen to fit your unique voice and personality, as well as your goals, technical needs and developing skill set!

Piano Students:

Young beginners, starting at age 5, get excited by exploring the piano and improvising on the black keys! As lessons continue, we begin the fun and work of reading the musical score and playing your favorite pieces!
Upper elementary, middle & high school students and adults, work with me and learn the fundamentals of music to develop musical independence and play lead sheets, pop tunes, vocal accompaniment - any music that you love! I will assess what you know and fill in the gaps in your foundation!

Our Studio Community is supportive and kind.

**In the Group Musicianship Classes, students often perform for one another.** One of the best parts of the class is hearing the support from the students for each other after each performance. The student audience is asked to listen carefully and be ready to comment about one aspect that they like.
Comments from the students have included: “good diction”, “great high notes”, loved your choices of song”, “you sang with such emotion”, “you played those fast scale passages so well”, “I was so impressed that you played from memory”, “loved your choice of piece”, and “you play with such confidence”.
